How to apply edge banding?
Generally, we highly recommend an edge banding machine to apply the edge banding, if you want to apply the edge banding by yourself, please follow the next steps as below:
Step 1: Mark where you want the edge banding to go on the workpiece.
Step 2: Cut the edge banding to length/width with a sharp knife or razor.
Step 3: Apply glue on the edge of board evenly and thinly. Make sure there’s enough glue in all areas.
Step 4: Apply the edge banding, and gently spread it out with your fingers or a spatula, working from the middle out to make sure there aren’t any air bubbles.
Step 5: After applying all of the edge banding, let it sit for a few minutes so that glue can dry.
